Statement
Like anything of importance or value, true knowledge does not come for free. It takes time, determination, openness, a desire to be challenged and a tremendous effort that matches or surpasses the knowledge sought. The knowledge seekers’ reward is the calm understanding and tranquility that comes with organization, fact, reason and logic and the tireless effort of the journey. When you know, you can rest calmly in the shade of knowledge without hysterical reactions to those who may seek to challenge or confront you.
We make no assertion to what is considered “real” or “fake” news. We make no claims to the authenticity of any source or particular story, we simply provide the facts and leave that up to the individual to decide for themselves. From individuals to large corporations to governments, most will bend towards presenting information in a light that best suits them. Because of this, all media sources must be scrutinized as potential propaganda or disinformation. It is our goal to provide as many sources and facts as possible so that the individual may decide for themselves what is relevant, important or real.
To inform yourself responsibly and critically, be prepared to constantly challenge yourself by looking at and listening to opposing viewpoints. In this way you can intelligently understand and discuss complex topics and issues with a well-rounded and better informed perspective.
Beware of things like confirmation bias, social media echo chambers or being too partisan or biased on topics.
